SYNOPSIS
Green building was determined at the Paris COP 21 meeting as one solution that can significantly reduce carbon emission. Globally, more and more buildings are built and managed following green standards. With green buildings, businesses can expect lower electricity bills and reduced risks to future utilities price hikes. Moreover, staff morale can be improved thanks to better indoor air quality and comfort. These benefits can all be achieved by significant investment, not in financial terms, but in terms of commitment from business leaders and buildings management teams.
