REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON KNOWLEDGE SHARING OF GREEN BUILDINGS IN CAMBODIA

The VGBC is excited to collaborate in the regional advancement of Green Building Systems. From May 7th to May 9th, the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia organized the Regional Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Green Building in Phnom Penh Cambodia with funding support from the Mekong- ROK Cooperation Fund (MKCF), and the VGBC’s Research Manager, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Linh (Arden) joined the event. Key participants included respective government officers of Cambodia, development partner and experts from the Mekong country. The event shared a view of Guidelines and Certification Standards for Green Buildings in Cambodia and participants were invited to bring their expertise and experience to deliver tangible green building practices and solutions at a regional and global scale. Importantly, participants shared knowledge and experiences of the development of Green Building Systems, building networking and exploring future cooperation among the Mekong countries and the Republic of Korea.
