VGBC ATTENDED THE EVENT: “INNOVATING TODAY FOR A SUSTAINABLE TOMORROW”
On October 11, 2024, Sika Vietnam organized the event “Innovating Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”. The event introduced sustainable development strategies with advanced technology solutions, focusing on reducing CO2 emissions and increasing energy efficiency in the construction industry while aiming to develop a circular economy and improve the quality of green buildings, contributing to building a sustainable future.
VGBC is honored to participate in the discussion on the topic of sustainability in the construction industry. During the discussion, Director of the Vietnam Green Building Council – Mr. Douglas Lee Snyder commented that the strategic orientations of businesses like Sika Vietnam are responding to the trend of choosing more sustainable products, and are also suitable in the context of building green buildings in the future. According to Mr. Douglas, the top criteria for evaluating green buildings include the resilience and recovery of buildings against natural disasters, along with reducing CO2 emissions for the building.
