Savills’ MTE HCMC on March 26th was another winning event with an afternoon full of top speakers and of course an evening of networking. Douglas Snyder, VGBC Executive Director, gave a keynote speech to kickoff a Masterclass panel discussion on the topic of Sustainability Integration – Embracing & Implementing Changes. The diverse panel provided for many views, and speakers shared an overall consensus that current mindsets are the greatest challenge limiting sustainability – not the cost or technical barriers. Therefore, there is a great need to educate investors, developers, and designers. Through MTE, which is one of the biggest conferences for the Hospitality & Real Estate industry in South East Asia, VGBC hopes to build a bridge between sustainability best practice and current hospitality development trends in Vietnam.
