October is celebrated as the month of Vietnamese women. This is not only an opportunity for VGBC to express gratitude to the wonderful women in our lives, but also a chance to show respect for the women who are tirelessly dedicating themselves to challenging and demanding fields such as architecture, construction, and green building.
The green building industry has long been considered a stronghold of men, but today, there are many “female warriors” actively working in this field. The women in the industry not only overcome gender stereotypes but also affirm themselves with professionalism, resilience, and a burning passion, proving that they can make significant contributions and take charge in this field.
“The Green Roses” is a series of stories about women in the construction and green building sectors that VGBC wishes to share with everyone. Despite facing numerous challenges, from work pressures to societal gender stereotypes, these women remain strong, overcome all difficulties, and create their own values. With passion and enthusiasm, they not only conquer these challenges but also contribute to changing society’s perception of women in this specialized field.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20th), VGBC extends its best and most sincere wishes to all women and acknowledges the contributions of these “green roses” in every profession, especially in the green building sector.
