On March 29, 2024, the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) hosted a conference in Ho Chi Minh City on the “Circular Economy in the Construction Sector”. This event garnered significant interest from the local Ministry of Construction, international organizations, and prominent specialists in the construction and green materials business, with participation from 70 attendees.
As the Vietnam’s affiliate of World Green Building Council (WGBC) VGBC emphasized the Global Principles of Sustainable Construction Environment, particularly emphasizing the Circular Economy, as endorsed by WGBC The full-day seminar delved deeply into the future of natural resources for construction materials, the fundamentals of circular economy for a sustainable built environment, circular design principles, nature regeneration, and reference business models for businesses to use in their operations.
