[HN, 24-27/03/2018] Sustainable Architecture Educational Exchange between Vietnam and Germany

1. Program goal

Improve construction environment towards environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, thermal comfort performance, affordability and cultural preservation to achieve governmental objectives of energy efficiency and GHG reduction..

2. Programme description

Sustainable Architecture Educational exchange programme is founded by Vietnam Energy Efficiency Network (EEN-Vietnam) cooperated with Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences (HFT) to provide students, architects, engineers from Vietnam and Germany, with 4-day exchange opportunities for experiences practically on apply building performance simulations for different climate zones in Vietnam as well as site visit guided by German experts.

3. Target group

10 German students from Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences.

20 Vietnamese students/architects/Engineers interested in climate engineering, building performance simulation.

4. Benefit

Apply and Practise building performance simulation for Vietnamese building case studies on different Vietnamese climate zone during 4 days.

Be guided by Prof. Volkmar Bleicher – German expert who has over 20 year experiences on building performance simulation.

Teamwork between German and Vietnamese organisations/individuals who are interested in climate engineering, building performance in around 4 days.

Visit and study directly at typical buildings around the north of Vietnam.

Receive programme certificates based on implementation results.

Discuss and establish network between Vietnamese and German experts, professors.

All training fees of the program are sponsored.

5. Eligibility

Be interested or working in sustainable architecture, building performance simulation areas (students, architects, engineers,….)

Communicate in English well.

Commit to participate from 24th March 2018 to 27th March 2018.
