ReBuMat is a collaborative project of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), Vietnam Institute of Building Materials, Ton Duc Thang University, Technical University of Lübeck, Fraunhofer IBP and VGBC. The partners study resource-efficient construction methods using sustainable building materials in Vietnam. The project consortium invites partners, industry actors, policy makers and researchers to the ReBuMat symposium to discuss the current state & possible futures of sustainable and resource-efficient construction materials in Vietnam. The symposium includes an on-site straw bale building workshop (May 15-17), a showcase of a compressed mud brick house (May 13) and will facilitate many learning and networking opportunities. More resource-efficient construction methods can be discussed by participants during the event.
