Announcement: Appointment of the new Executive Director of Vietnam Green Building Council (“VGBC”) from 01 October 2022

— VGBC — The Board of Director, hereby announce that Mr. Douglas Snyder is appointed as the new Executive Director of Vietnam Green Building Council (“VGBC”). He will replace Mr. Duong Quoc Hung, who no longer serves the VGBC as of 31 August 2022. The replacement is effective on 01 October 2022 .

We take this opportunity to welcome Mr. Douglas Snyder in his position at VGBC, and we strongly believe under his new leadership VGBC will continue to evolve as a socially responsible organization to promote sustainable development goals in Vietnam, particularly green building in the construction sector.

The Board shall fully support him in his tenure to drive VGBC activities towards our Vision –  To be Vietnam’s focal point promoting Sustainable Construction, leading to a healthy, resilient, and climate safe built environment.
