The VGBC partnered with GRESB and GreenViet in a webinar on Maximizing The Value Of Your Green Building Certificate. Mr. Douglas Snyder, executive director VGBC, gave an overview on the role of green building councils in promoting sustainability in their respective countries, in part, by creating building certification systems that include a wide variety of sustainability criteria. These rating systems serve to verify green buildings for investment and the GRESB platform uses these to rank companies in terms of their real estate portfolios and performance. The VGBC looks forward to working with GRESB to facilitate ESG investments in real green properties in Vietnam in 2024.
