VGBC ATTENDED THE 6TH HOSPITALITY VIETNAM CONFERENCE.

At the recent 6th Hospitality Vietnam Conference, the VGBC’s executive director, Mr. Douglas Snyder, and board member, Mr. Vu Linh Quang, ARDOR Architects, participated in the green finance panel, “Eye on ESG: collective efforts of legislators, investors, owners, operators, third-party experts and guests.” Douglas gave a summary of global trends, standards, and reporting systems for ESG that can apply to hospitality assets. Linh Quang shared his views on active green building systems in Vietnam. Finance will be one of the key accelerators for sustainability in the property sector, and you will hear much more on how the VGBC will engage in ESG in the near future.
