On December 16th, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Architects Association organized a seminar “Approaching green standards for effective and creative working spaces”. The seminar was attended by reputable experts in Architecture, Planning and Urban Management, architects, and experienced consultants in the field of “Green Office”.
 
Attending the event, Mr. Douglas Lee Snyder – CEO of Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) shared about the role of Green Building Councils around the world, general information about International green standards are being successfully applied in Vietnam. Mr. Douglas said, “green” standards for interior projects focus on eight aspects: health, energy, materials, operations, location and traffic, water, pollution levels, and change. new.
 
The seminar is the first step in a series of professional activities to help architects approach green standards. VGBC hopes that there will be more events and discussions on Green Building to take place to spread the knowledge and importance of applying “greening” to the Construction industry as well as to people’s lives.
