LOTUS AP is a professional who has profound knowledge of LOTUS green building certification system. A LOTUS AP can provide consultancy advice when designing, constructing or operating green buildings and applying for certification under the LOTUS system.

S1: Gaining comprehensive knowledge of LOTUS Certification System

Professionals can acquire the knowledge of LOTUS Certification System by getting familiar with the LOTUS NC v3 Technical Manual. VGBC conducts courses taught by experts already familiar with the system so that students can get used to the knowledge more quickly.

S2: Passing LOTUS AP Exam

The candidate must achieve a mark of 54/80 or higher in order to pass the LOTUS AP exam.

After VGBC receives all valid documents, we will issue a LOTUS AP certificate in PDF format, and will authenticate the Full Name and Work Unit of the LOTUS Green Building Expert at https://vgbc.vn/lotus-ap-list/.

Our course's goals include:

• Training a team of professionals with the capability to consult on, design, implement, and manage green building projects according to LOTUS standards.
• Promoting the development of the sustainable construction industry, contributing to environmental protection and efficient use of resources.

• LOTUS APs need to understand the application of the LOTUS Rating Systems to a level that can guide a project from the design stage to achieving the LOTUS Green Building certification.
• The LOTUS AP exam is a test of candidates' understanding and knowledge of the LOTUS Rating Systems and general knowledge of the sustainable building environment and the applicability of LOTUS in Vietnam.

• Provide in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of Vietnam's LOTUS green building rating system.
• Train a team of professionals with the capability to consult on, design, implement, and manage green building projects according to LOTUS standards.
• Promote the development of the sustainable construction industry, contributing to environmental protection and efficient use of resources.

• Provide comprehensive knowledge of LOTUS green building rating criterias, including energy, water, material & resources, health & comfort, site & environment, management and exceptional performance.
• Train skills in consulting, analyzing, designing, and managing green building projects according to LOTUS standards.
• Prepare participants to achieve the LOTUS AP certification after completing the course and meeting the requirements for the certification exam.

• Architects, engineers, project owners, real estate brokers, project development consultants, and project management units.
• Professionals in the fields of consulting, design, construction, economics, and project management.
• Students in fields related to construction, architecture, environment, and construction economics.

• Acquire knowledge about green buildings in the field of sustainable construction in Vietnam.
• Gain a thorough understanding of green building design and construction principles according to LOTUS standards.
• Acquire the ability to analyze, evaluate, and design green building projects to achieve LOTUS certification.
• Receive a certificate of completion for the LOTUS AP course.
• Meet the requirements to take the LOTUS AP certification exam administered by the Vietnam Green Building Council.

The LOTUS AP Exam is opened only to individuals who:
– Completed studying LOTUS New Construction V3 – Technical Manual
OR
– Were already LOTUS AP and have their certificate expired
OR
– Have participated in the LOTUS AP Training Course conducted by VGBC

– The Exam takes place at a location designated by VGBC.
– Duration: 120 minutes
– The Exam is available in Vietnamese or English.
– This is an open exam, so candidates can refer to the LOTUS NC Technical Manual V3.0, and any other resources the candidate wants. Search conditions: on-site search, no internet access, no phone.

– The Exam is based on LOTUS New Construction V3.0.

– A fixed exam fee is 2,000,000VND (VAT included)
– This fee is non-refundable or cancelable in any case after the candidate has successfully paid.
– Documents and exam fees are reserved for a maximum of 1 year from the date of successful exam registration.
